Kepler College believes it is important that astrologers have a basic understanding of the astronomy underlying astrology and how the chart is calculated.
There is a trade-off in having the benefit of computers to calculate an astrological chart. Chart Calculation gives students a deeper understanding of how the chart relates to the movements of the earth and sky, which aids chart interpretation.
30 hours of instruction are required for this certificate. Courses include:
M100: Chart Calculation
E400: Astronomy for Astrologers (independent study)
