Kepler Astrologers Toastmasters Showcase
Join us for six stellar talks on various astrological topics. As part of honing their public speaking skills, these presenters have competed with their fellow club members to earn a slot in this 3rd annual showcase, which is also a contest—judged by a panel of luminaries in the astrology world.
Introduction to Hellenistic Profections
Consider this foundational timelord system rooted in the Hellenistic astrological tradition. We’ll discuss the origins of the technique and demonstrate its practical basics, and discover how profections serve for unveiling the unfolding of events across an individual’s life. See just how simple and yet profound profections are in casting light on the various matters of the natal promise.
Timing with Planetary Periods
The planets’ cycles are foundational building blocks to many astrological techniques and their fingerprints are found in some of the most popular methods for timing events. Join us as we will shed light on one method developed by Vettius Valens; learn how to apply it using chart examples, and consider the cyclic and fractal nature of time.
Chart Calculation
This guided independent study course provides a deeper understanding of how the chart relates to the movements of the earth and sky, which aids chart interpretation. Offered once per yer, this course is required for Kepler College Diploma seeking students.

About Kepler College
Kepler College is one of the longest-established schools of Astrology in the United States, founded in 1992 and named in honor of the 16th-century Astrologer, Astronomer, and Mathematician Johannes Kepler. Kepler College draws students worldwide seeking the best in quality Astrological education. Unlike astrology schools limited to one guru serving as the solo teacher, Kepler College offers a broader perspective. Our school includes many highly-qualified Astrological instructors, all passionate about guiding students through their educational journey.
In August 2022, Kepler was honored with the award of Favorite Astrology School, voted by a peer community of international astrologers, at the ISAR (International Society of Astrological Research) conference in Westminster, Colorado.
Kepler College is a registered 501(c)(3) with a dual governance system, allowing us to meet the needs of our students while maintaining a vibrant and flourishing learning community. The leadership of Kepler College consists of a Board of Directors and an Administration Council, and a group of instructors who are experienced, professional Astrologers.

Kepler Spotlight
Enid Newberg, MA Whole Systems Design. Enid has been a librarian, astrologer, childbirth educator, paralegal, IT and web developer and trainer, entrepreneur, administrator, and teacher. In 1993, Enid became involved in the dream of creating an academic college where astrology would be openly taught and joined the board of Kepler College. She was president of the College as it opened from 2000-2001 and again from 2007-2019. In 2013, her interest in preserving and expanding an understanding of our astrological heritage led her to help establish the Alexandria iBase Project. Enid particularly enjoys introducing students to the dynamic aliveness of an astrological chart. She is also fascinated by astrology’s history and philosophy, as well as its intersection with magic, spirituality, and culture. She loves to teach and use astrology to help clients find creative insights.
