Mark Douglas – Distinguished Fellow

In 2009, Mark Douglas became the well-deserved recipient of the Kepler College Distinguished Fellowship Award. The Board of Trustees has recognized Mark as one of Kepler College’s most dedicated supporters. He is not only a member of the Founder’s Circle, and a donor of land, money and equipment, but also a true friend to our students through the Purple Angel Scholarship.

The Board of Trustees established the Distinguished Fellowship to confer upon individuals who have made an exceptional contribution to Kepler College through logistical, financial or educational assistance. Fellowship may also be conferred upon individuals not directly associated with the College but who have made a substantial and internationally recognized contribution to the subject areas taught at the College.

When the Board of Trustees developed this honor, they were unanimous in their decision that Mark Douglas should be its first recipient. Without Mark’s strong support in our early years, Kepler College would not exist.
