Astrology of Healing Certificate:
Astrology of Healing Certificate
Overview
This certificate addresses medical astrology through horary and decumbiture charts and the methods of great astrologers such as Abraham ibn Ezra and Nicholas Culpeper.
Historical Context
For all but the last century, medicine encompassed hundreds of methods addressing diseases of body, mind, and spirit. No single school held right of priority, much less legal priority. Our foundational courses explore how this changed and its impact on practitioners and those seeking care.
Why “Astrology of Healing”
Because these changes have limited professional autonomy for many healing traditions, we use “Astrology of Healing”—a legally unreserved term.
Within certain communities, this phrase implies a hierarchy among body, mind, and spirit. Our usage is lowercase: not ‘hierarchy’ but ‘reverence’ for the path toward self-understanding, healing, and acceptance. Some practitioners focus on physical matters, others on mental or spiritual concerns. All seek health and well-being, and all see astrology as a means of practice, understanding, and support.
All courses require an Astrological Skill Level of High Beginner or higher. Follow the link below to assess your Astrological Skill Level. This will help you when you are exploring courses to take.
