Medieval Astrology

Öner Döşer is an instructor, publisher and author of 40 books and the founder of AstroArt School of Astrology, AstroArt Astrology Television, AstroArt Publications. He is translating and publishing books on Ottoman Astrology and teaching it’s techniques worldwide. Oner received Robert Zoller’s Medieval Astrology Diploma in 2005, teaching Medieval Astrology techniques in Kepler College and his School. He is CAPISAR, OPA Turkish Satellite, organizor of the International Astrology Days since 2012. Since 2015, he has been preparing Ottoman Astrology courses including Natal, Horary, Electional and Mundane Astrology with the translations from the 578-page unique work of the 19th century Ottoman astrologer Sadullah al-Ankarawi and published some of them as books from AstroArt Publications.

Ehsan Khazeni is a Persian astrologer from Tehran. His journey into astrology began in 2006, starting with a deep dive into Vedic astrology. In 2014 he became interested in Western astrology as well. Meanwhile he delved into the study of ancient Persian manuscripts, collecting rare manuscripts and maintaining constant contact with notable astrologers. Drawing on experiences from other branches of astrology, he eventually found his calling in the revival of Persian astrology.

His passion for astrology is matched by his dedication to software development, where he has created tools such as the Bindu Astrology Software and Saptarishis Research Software and a close partnership with Cosmic Patterns. Ehsan’s commitment shines through in his active participation in international conferences, where he enthusiastically presents Persian astrology to the global astrological community.

Anthony Louis is a retired psychiatrist who has studied astrology as a serious hobby since his teens. He has published several books and articles on astrology, tarot and divination, and has lectured internationally. His interest in primary directions stems from his study of Morin de Villefranche’s Astrologia Gallica, which began in the 1980s and has continued to the present.

I began my studies in traditional astrology with Robert Zoller’s Medieval Course in 1995 after four years study with Astro Logos (Australia). I began my own school, Balsama Astrology in 1996 operating until 2002, when I became co-founder of AstroMundi which remained active until its closure in 2026.

I co-wrote Scala Coeli: The Ladder to Heaven, a series of essays in 2012, followed by my own books on traditional astrology; A Tiny Universe (2018), A Tiny Universe’s Companion (2018), Munakara: Planets in Contention (2025), and Firdaria: Time Lords for Today (2026).

An association with Taiwanese school, Skygaze Academy of Traditional Astrology (SATA) since 2020 has broadened my teaching and introduced my books to a growing audience keen to learn Western traditional astrology.

Shu Yap is a consulting astrologer, teacher, and writer based in Central Victoria, Australia, on Dja Dja Wurrung Country. For Shu, astrology is not just a profession but a way of life, influencing her work as a grower, beekeeper, and regenerative farmer. Drawing inspiration from Hermetic philosophy, she practices traditional astrology with a sky-centered approach. Shu’s spiritual practice and cosmological perspectives are deeply rooted in her Daoist cultural heritage.

Certified by the Melbourne School of Astrology and the School of Traditional Astrology in Horary and Traditional Medical Astrology, Shu operates an international consulting practice, lectures globally, teaches at Kepler College, mentors individual students, and writes weekly planetary news for The Interpsycle Observator.
