Mary Gaterud is an astrologer and artist living in the wilderness of Northern California. She holds a BA from New College of USF in Psychology and French Literature, and received an MA in Existential/ Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University.

Mary’s astrological studies include achievement of the Horary Practitioners Certificate with the STA. She is a regular contributor to OPA’s publication, “The Evolving Astrologer,” and has served as an Executive Member of the Kepler Astrologers Toastmasters Club.

As the Creative Content and Operations Coordinator, Mary works to ensure an easy workflow and successful educational mission, creates graphic designs for Kepler College’s digital ecosystem, and serves as a Teaching Assistant, as well as instructor for Horary Astrology.

Elisabeth Grace earned her B.A in Philosophy from Wellesley College. She is an ISAR CAP certified consulting astrologer, a School of Traditional Astrology (STA) certified horary practitioner and a highest-honors graduate of Noel Tyl’s rigorous master’s course for professional astrologers. She studied medical astrology with Lee Lehman (STA). Freelancing at WNBC and CNBC inspired her weekly forecast – Why Now News — about the astonishing synchronicity of astrology and the news, now in its 15th year. Penned the “Charts in the News” column for Mountain Astrologer. Stand-up comedy experience comes in handy at public speaking engagements.

Rick’s philosophy is simple: Astrology is a tool for empowerment, understanding, and creativity. His unique approach combines astrology and spirituality, science and religion, and the head and the heart. Founding Trustee of Kepler College. Coauthored Barnes and Noble’s annual Your Astrology Guides (2006-2013). Rick’s online Daily Horoscope Column reached millions daily for over twenty years. His instructional YouTube videos and courses currently reach tens of thousands of students every month. AWARDS: “International Astrologer of the Year Award” (Kolkata, India, 2018), “Fomalhaut Award for Astrological Excellence” (Turkish School of Astrology, 2019), and “Favorite Social Media Content Creator” (ISAR, 2022).

Tamira McGillivray holds a BA in East-West Traditions & Astrology (2007) through Kepler College and a PGC in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology through the University of Wales, NCGR Level III Certified, the Past President of the San Diego chapter of the National Council of Geocosmic Research (NCGR) and is a certified Astro*Carto*grapher with Continuum. She is currently not only an instructor at Kepler College but is the Coordinator for the AstroMapping Certificate and is also the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees.

Tamira has a Professional Astrological Practice dedicated to connecting ancient wisdom to the modern world through AstroMapping and AstroRemediation, speaking engagements, workshops, and one-on-one consultations.

As a Meditation teacher, Usui / Karuna® Reiki and Holy Fire® Master (1996-2019), she studied with Dolores Cannon as a PLR/Quantum Healing (QHHT) Practitioner Level II and RYT Yoga Teacher (Through Roots & Wings Yoga Studio Vista California), Tamira is dedicated to using a variety of methods and energy techniques to meet her client’s individual needs, her website is navigatingthestars.ca. Tamira has a regular meditation group practice called Inner Circle Reiki and also teaches local Astrology and Reiki Classes.

Marcos has practised as a medical herbalist for twenty years, initially specialising in complementary care for people living with HIV, and practicing from Neal’s Yard Remedies’ Therapy Rooms in London.

He worked as a dispenser in Middlesex University’s training clinic for their Western Herbal Medicine BSc in 2009-2010, and later as a clinical supervisor for the Western Herbal medicine BSc and MSc courses at Middlesex from 2013-18, and for Westminster University in 2021-22, and for Heartwood online in 2020-23.

Marcos is a student of Renaissance and classical astrology, an affiliate tutor for Kepler College in the U.S.A., the UK Qualified Horary Practitioner (QHP) school, and a faculty member of the Academy of Astrology UK.

His first book, The Secret Life of Chocolate (thesecretlifeofchocolate.com), was released in 2020, and the smaller “paperback edit”, Pharmakakawa , was released in November 2024. He launched Plan*tarium, a school of medical astrology for herbalists, therapists and medical practitioners, in September 2024 (https://plantarium.uk/) .

Steve Pincus began studying astrology in 1976. His focus on Uranian, Cosmobiology and Symmetrical techniques began in 1979. Former President of the San Francisco Bay Area NCGR Chapter (1985-2015), he currently serves as the chapter’s President Emeritus (2015-present). Steve produces the 90° Star Dial System featuring Arlene Kramer’s unique design. He’s owner of Sun Recording Service, an evolving archive of astrological teachings (https://stardialsunrecording.com). He’s also a member of the Hamburg School, AFA, ISAR, NCGR, OPA and the Astrological Association (AA).
Steve’s Astrological Certifications include Astro Mapping, Astro*Carto*Graphy and Cosmobiology. His translation of Alfred Witte’s article: “The Houses of the Birth Meridian” was published in the Uranian Society e-Journal (Fall 2023). In the Fall 2022 issue he describes Friedrich Sieggrün contributions to Witte’s system. His two-part article on NASA’s Galileo Mission was published in Aspects magazine (Spring & Summer 1996).
He’s lectured locally and internationally for various astrology groups including NCGR-SF, NCGR National, the Hamburg School (in Hamburg Germany), and the Kepler Uranian Group. He’s also presented at various astrology conferences (ISAR, UAC86, AFA, SWAC), and most recently in England at the AA Conferences in 2019 and 2023.
Steve has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, all from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn NY. He’s a retired software engineer with a California Community College Instructor Teaching Credential in Computer Science; Computer and Related Technologies; and Mathematics. He’s taught Pascal and Fortran Programing Language Courses at the College of San Mateo.

Bruce Scofield began studying astrology in 1967 and maintained a private practice as an astrological consultant, writer and conference speaker for over 45 years. He has professional astrological certification from AFA and NCGR, is the author of eight books and numerous articles on astrology and has also written on other subjects including science, archaeology, history and hiking. Since 1979 he has served on the education committee of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) as a member and director and is currently president of the Professional Astrologers Alliance (PAA), an astrological certifying body. Bruce holds an M.A. in history and a Ph.D. in geosciences and has taught evolution and the science of Gaia at the University of Massachusetts and astrology and astronomy online for Kepler College.
