The Kepler College Board of Trustees helps guide the college in its development, strategic planning and financial soundness. Board members have a passion for both astrology and the promotion of excellence in astrological education. The individuals involved with Kepler College are a varied group, from administration to volunteers. We live throughout the United States and around the world. Some have over 40 years of experience practicing astrology and others are relative newcomers. We all care about promoting quality education and professionalism.
Meet Our Current Board Chair
Denise Menton is an attorney and practicing astrologer who divides her time between New York City and Lakeville, Connecticut. She holds degrees from Cornell University, College of Arts and Sciences, and Boston University School of Law, as well as a Kepler Professional Diploma in Astrology.
Denise spent several years working with InMotion (now Her Justice), a nonprofit providing free legal services to women living in poverty in New York City. She played a pivotal role in creating and running the organization’s original benefit photography auction, which remains its primary fundraising event. Denise also served on InMotion’s Board of Directors and chaired the Nominating Committee. In addition to her legal and nonprofit work, Denise volunteered as a mediator with the New York Peace Institute. She served on the Advisory Board of the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) and as Secretary and Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees for Kepler College. Denise was elected Chair of the Kepler College Board of Trustees in January 2025.
Denise previously owned and operated Betwixt, a preteen girls’ clothing store in Manhattan’s West Village, and is currently creating the Bleecker Street Salon, a vibrant gathering space for Astrological Social Events that blend astrology, major current events and meaningful conversations.

Jennifer Zahrt, Ph.D.

Dr. Jenn Zahrt is an author, publisher, and teacher of cultural astronomy and astrology. From 2017-2022, she was an Honorary Research Fellow at the Sophia Centre for the Study of Cosmology in Culture at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. She is an Emerita Trustee of Kepler College and now serves on the Board of Directors for the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR). Dr Zahrt founded the Celestial Arts Education Library in 2021, and curates over 10,000 volumes of astrological books, journals, and newsletters. Visit the library at: www.caeli.institute

Tamira McGillivray holds a BA in East-West Traditions & Astrology (2007) through Kepler College and a PGC in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology through the University of Wales, NCGR Level III Certified, the Past President of the San Diego chapter of the National Council of Geocosmic Research (NCGR) and is a certified Astro*Carto*grapher with Continuum. She is currently not only an instructor at Kepler College but is the Coordinator for the AstroMapping Certificate and is also the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees.
Tamira has a Professional Astrological Practice dedicated to connecting ancient wisdom to the modern world through AstroMapping and AstroRemediation, speaking engagements, workshops, and one-on-one consultations.
As a Meditation teacher, Usui / Karuna® Reiki and Holy Fire® Master (1996-2019), she studied with Dolores Cannon as a PLR/Quantum Healing (QHHT) Practitioner Level II and RYT Yoga Teacher (Through Roots & Wings Yoga Studio Vista California), Tamira is dedicated to using a variety of methods and energy techniques to meet her client’s individual needs, her website is navigatingthestars.ca. Vanessa Lundborg is a professional astrologer, Resonance Repatterning practitioner and certified consulting hypnotist with a focus on past life exploration and the soul’s evolutionary journey. She is a recipient of Kepler’s Professional Diploma in Astrology and continues to be involved with the college as an instructor for W101 Fundamentals I.
Her specialties include natal and relationship astrology, trauma resolution and working with the nervous system in tandem with the subconscious to increase positive life responses and joy.

Will Morris has practiced astrology professionally since 1977. In 1980, he began combining Daoist herbal practices with astrology. In 1988, he earned a doctorate in Chinese medicine to support his astrological interests.
In 1991, he started using the Lilly techniques learned from Olivia Barclay and saw 45 patients a week, running horary astrology the whole time. A total of more than 45,000 client visits using horary techniques. He now extends that discipline, working with Lee Lehman.
He studied Vedic astrology with KN Rao and David Frawley in the 90s and is now with Ma Gyan Suveera and Sanjay Rath. Will is the author of Cycles in Medical Astrology and the forthcoming book Sky and Meridian. He serves on the board of Kepler College. Will also practices and is qualified in Vedic, Renaissance, Symmetrical, Uranian, and Vibrational astrology. His PhD uses qualitative methods for transformative inquiry and explores ways of knowing in practice.

His unique approach combines astrology and spirituality, science and religion, and the head and the heart. Founding Trustee of Kepler College. Coauthored Barnes and Noble’s annual Your Astrology Guides (2006-2013). Rick’s online Daily Horoscope Column reached millions daily for over twenty years. His instructional YouTube videos and courses currently reach tens of thousands of students every month. Omari Martin, MAFM, LPMAFA, NCGR-PAA I is a certified professional astrologer and a life member of the American Federation Astrologers (AFA), President of The Friends of Astrology, Inc., Treasurer of the Astrology News Service, and Chairman of the board for Kepler College. He has a Level I certification through the National Council of Geocosmic Research
Professional Astrologer’s Alliance. He is a life member of the Organization for Professional Astrology, a certified teacher with the Church of Light – Brotherhood of Light lessons, and a certified integrative NLP practitioner through the Association for Integrative Psychology.
His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration / Accounting degree from Howard University and a Master of Accounting and Financial Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management specializing in Accounting at Capella University. He is the owner of SOULAR WISDOM – a human personality and behavior consulting business that focuses on Natal and Electional Astrology and ASTROPRENEURSHIP® that provides consulting and coaching services to astrologers and other entrepreneurs for business development, profitability, and long-term strategic growth. He is an adjunct professor of accounting & finance at Harold Washington College in Chicago, IL.

Bruce Scofield, Ph.D.

Bruce Scofield began studying astrology in 1967 and maintained a private practice as an astrological consultant, writer and conference speaker for over 45 years. He has professional astrological certification from AFA and NCGR, is the author of eight books and numerous articles on astrology and has also written on other subjects including science, archaeology, history and hiking. Since 1979 he has served on the education committee of the National Council for Geocosmic Research (NCGR) as a member and director and is currently president of the Professional Astrologers Alliance (PAA), an astrological certifying body. Bruce holds an M.A. in history and a Ph.D. in geosciences and has taught evolution and the science of Gaia at the University of Massachusetts and astrology and astronomy online for Kepler College. Kay Taylor is a soul-centered/psychological astrologer, author and teacher who has been integrating evolutionary astrology with intuitive mastery, psychosynthesis, yoga philosophy and a wealth of healing wisdom for 40 years. Kay is the President of OPA (Organization for Professional Astrology), formerly the Education Director, and is on the Board of Kepler College. She is a respected conference lecturer, trains intuitive/astrologers through her Soul Path School and is co-founder of the Center for Conscious Astrology, which will launch in 2024. Publications include Soul Path Way (2016), chapters for The Professional Astrologer (2015) and Essential Astrology (2024). Certified by OPA, ISAR CAP and NCGR Level II, she maintains a thriving full-time consulting practice based in the SF Bay Area.
